Western Center on Law and Poverty, with co-counsel, Los Angeles Center for Law & Justice, the National Housing Law Project and Arnold & Porter, filed a multi-million dollar suit against the City of Los Angeles Housing Authority (HACLA) to enforce lease provisions and recoup rent overcharges illegally collected from low-income Angelinos.
Western Center on Law and Poverty, a public interest law firm, today announced it is immediately filing a multi-million dollar suit against the City of Los Angeles Housing Authority (HACLA) to enforce HACLAlease provisions and recoup rent overcharges illegally collected from its residents. Western Center is joined by co-counsel Arnold & Porter LLP, Los Angeles Center for Law & Justice and the National Housing Law Project.
