Alex is a Senior Litigator at Western Center, focusing on housing and public benefits issues. Previously, Alex was a staff attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County, where he defended the rights of low-income clients in landlord-tenant, employment, environmental justice, and public benefits cases. Alex was a clerk for the Hon. Margaret M. Morrow in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the Hon. Susan Kenny of the Federal Court of Australia in Melbourne, which we now counts as one of his favorite cities. He has a J.D. from University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he was Articles Editor for the California Law Review, and a B.A. from New York University. In his spare time, Alex enjoys hiking and backpacking, especially in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
