Fellowships, Internships & Volunteering
Western Center welcomes applications from third year law students/law school graduates seeking Skadden, Equal Justice Works or school-based fellowships, who have projects that align with Western Center’s mission and work. To be considered, please send Stephanie Surabian, Director of Finance and Administration a letter or email (email@example.com) describing your potential project and the proposed fellowships, along with your resume. Skadden and Equal Justice Works sponsored applicants are chosen by Western Center during April/May before the actual fellowship program application due date and proposals to Western Center for these and other fellowships should be sent well in advance of the fellowship application deadline. Fellows can work out of our Los Angeles, Sacramento or Oakland office.
