Senior Executive & Legal Assistant
A native Angeleno, Lori is a seasoned administrative professional and litigation paralegal with extensive experience in trial preparation and complex trial support. In addition, she has nearly three decades of legal and philanthropic experience. One of the accomplishments of which she is most proud is serving on her former law firm’s trial team that was co-counsel to the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. They represented the City of San Jose and the Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI) in suing the Department of Commerce in the Northern District of California re: the 2020 Census’ citizenship question. In a related case, the U.S. Supreme Court issued an injunction in June 2019 permanently preventing the Commerce Department from adding a citizenship question to the 2020 census. Lori has a MBA degree and is a wife and the mother of three adult children. She is an avid supporter of the Crenshaw Subway Coalition, California Black Women’s Health Project, and the Brotherhood Crusade. She is also a Life Legacy Member of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc.
