Since the election we have been on the defensive: analyzing, strategizing, and mobilizing to protect health care for low-income Californians. Today we breathe our first true sigh of relief as Congress’s aggressive and callous ACA Repeal efforts were voted down last night.
But our work in fighting for access to health care is not over. Federal executive agencies have the ability to undermine the administration of the ACA. Western Center will continue the fight to protect care for the millions in California who depend on Medi-Cal.
